The Smith-McDowell House Museum

The Smith-McDowell House Museum is celebrating over 25 years open to the public. Discover Asheville's first mansion and oldest surviving structure, now restored as a history museum. How to purchase tickets
The intimate, 99-seat theatre fills up quickly, so we suggest buying tickets in advance. Tickets will generally go on sale four weeks before opening. 

Advance ticket sales

• By phone (processing fee per order): Call (828) 239-0263 and press 1 for the box office.  You'll reach a staff person at Pack Place who can handle your ticket purchase. Box office hours are Tuesday  - Saturday 10am - 5pm, and Sunday 1pm - 5pm

• In person (no fees): visit Pack Place Ticket Office in downtown Asheville at 2 S. Pack Square.  

• Online (processing fees): buy tickets online any time of the day. Click here to purchase tickets online.

The NCSC box office opens an hour and a half before curtain.  During that time, call 828-239-0263 or come to our box office at 15 Stage Lane, Asheville NC 28801.
