On Saturday June 30, the 2012 Stories on Asheville’s Front Porch Series opens with David Novak - preeminent teller and favorite of Asheville audiences.  The opening performance kicks off with the stories of Sherry Lovett.

The 2012 Festival Series, themed "Stories Whispered by a Mountain Breeze", is dedicated to the memory of Ray Hicks and sponsored by the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement, Pack Place, The Asheville Storytelling Circle, Charlotte Street Computers, DARN, White Pine Acupuncture and The Creperie Bouchon.  For more information, consult or call Pack Place at (828) 257-4500.


Stories begin at 10:30am at Pack Place in the Rhino Courtyard.  All performances are free to the public and are held rain or shine.  Easy entry through the corridor off of Biltmore Avenue between the Marble Slab Creamery and Circle in the Square.
