Local artist Kathy Triplett was delighted when her work was installed in the new Pack Place Education, Arts & Science Center.
Triplett created 36 clay tiles out of four designs celebrating the rich architectural history of Asheville. After having commissions in places such as Atlanta, Chicago and New York, Triplett was pleased to finally have a hometown commission.
The four designs are titled Westall Tile, City Hall Tile, Public Service Tile and Log Cabin Tile. They are installed atop pillars in Pack Place's Promenade and Theatre Lobby. . |
